Our Story

It started with a craving, not a business plan.

Emma moved to London and asked the simplest possible question: where's the chicken fillet roll? Nobody had a good answer. So she made one.

Emerald Eats food truck with the team

On day one at Broadway Market, the gas turned on... which was, frankly, a surprise. Three Irish strangers stopped dead at the counter. "Oh my God… a chicken fillet roll."

That moment...recognition, homesickness, delight.. has shaped everything since. Emerald Eats isn't Irish-inspired. It's Irish, by heart.

We grew from a stall, to a truck (somehow appeared on Saturday Kitchen), to multiple events all around the city. The team got bigger. The buzz stayed. The warmth stayed. The names of the regulars stayed.

Emma, founder

In her own words

"I'm not selling Ireland. I'm selling a Saturday morning — the kind where someone knows your name and the roll's already wrapped before you've ordered."
